Sure, why not ? Have you seen some of the Outlaw street or Super Stock NHRA classes ?
A friends SS/GT 454 makes around 700 with a single Q-jet. A NHRA prostock motor makes 1300 with two.
The torque seems a like it should be higher on that motor though.
