Ft Lauderdale Boat Show, Oct 28th to Nov 1st
Went down last year, great show, the Bahia Mar has the main attractions, the Convention Center has a lot of fishing boats and center consoles and the other locations show mostly big stuff, new and used.
I stayed in Pompano, drove and parked at Shooters and took the Water Taxi to the show, made life a lot easier.
It's also Halloween weekend, there are some great parties going on, we bounced around to a few places, the River Walk was pretty wild as was Shooters, but I'm sure the local crew down there can recommend this years hot spots.
We have the Norwalk, CT show going on this weekend, which I'll have to squeeze in on Sunday after the NPBA Glen Cove Poker Run on LI on Sat.
I'm definitely doing the Miami show this year, had to purchase my airline tickets months ago, it's winter break for the schools and the later it gets the harder it is to gets to get air, even if you want to pay big money.
