what can i drop in????
hello i'm italian(sardinia) i've got a v hull boat of 25" and 2500 lbs, i would like to buy a mercruiser engine, but what do you tell me about 7.4l, 454 and 502:all in carb version. thanks.giuseppe

It depends on what your goal is for the boat, as far as its expected usage.
All 502's come with heavy duty parts in them, while 454's can either be heavy duty or non heavy duty. Whichever you choose is supported by a healthy aftermarket with lots of parts.
