Lightbulb 21 SuperBoat or 22 Donzi classic?

I am thinking of purchasing either a 21 Superboat or a 22 Donzi Classic. Can anyone help me on my decision? What boat handles the rough water better,
resale value, boat construction, performance and what ever else you can add.

Thanks
Al

I have a 95 22 Classic with 502mpi and black hawk. The boat is really clean and is a blast to drive. I just got it last year and I bet it has less than 50hrs on it. It is for sale. I took it in trade for an F150 and the boss says it has to go.

i don't know much about the 21' super boat myself not many around here, i do love the old 30' like rc marine. but the donzi 22' runs pretty good in rough water. i think better resale.i myself like the looks of the donzi very classy

Are you looking at new or used? I am building a new 21 using the Apache scout mold and is configurable to any way you wish. I am currently building one with a big block and a 2+2 seating configuration.

I would go with the Donzi 22 as it is built better, bigger, have a 24 degree as opposed to a 21 degree on the Superboat and will handle the rough water better, they are actually 22' 6" if I remember right...Matt

rbr-are you building the boats on a commercial or a hobby basis? How many are you looking to produce? I was just curious what your long term goals were...

How about 22' Progression. Better built than both. Will handle rough water better than both. And will most likely hold value better than both. Just my 2 cents...

I've considered SOBs (Intimidator/Tuff/Progression superior to the Superiorboat) v the Donzi Classic myself.

rough water handling: Donzi (Tuff close)
construction quality: Tuff/Progression
resale value: Donzi (reputation, OBs date themselves)
performance: SOBs (Donzi 70mph, Intimidator/Tuff/Progression ~100mph)
