Type Sal Magluta and/or Willie Falcone into your web browser. They ran the SEAHAWK race team and ended up in the slammer with Benny Boy. As I recall, I didn't think they built their own boats. This is a real throwback to racing in the 80's. These guys were some Bad Dudes! I probably have some SEAHAWK pictures but I don't know how to post them. You'll enjoy the info on the net.

I talked to a guy that has one up here in Maryland , He says the the boat is real light. Can be a hand full in rough water. he has twin outboards. on the back he says it is a hand full to drive at full speed. but he says it will do 80.

I just bought a '86 28ft Seahawk project boat. It is just a bare hull, controls, and trailer. It is set up to run two outboards. I dont know much about it and would like to learn more. I get different answers on who built these boats and when they were built.

The 26' Seahawk is from the old Lionmar mold (Lionel Martinez/ Hialeah) Seahawk re-marketed the boats in the early 80's then bought the molds outright. When the assets were sold to Al he continued with the 26, 28 and 31's and he also had the Squadron 27 molds. He built them in an open field across the street from Fort Apache.

Okkarner... That blue bottomed 28 is my old Seahawk by the way. I confirmed it with an old laminator who said the P-68 boat was the only one with a blue gel-coated bottom. Great hull.. hope she works out for you.

Hope this helps
