Fuel pressure questions? scan tools?
on a stock 1998 7.4L-310hp, what is the base idle fuel pressure? vacuum line on, or off, when checking?
Is it hard to find used Merc scan tool(s) for sale??

I believe your fuel pressure with the key on or motor running at idle should be about 43psi. This measurement is made with the vacume line off and plugged.
As for used scan tools, you should just put a thread request here on the forum and check the classifieds regularly. Good Luck
