Smartcraft Questions

I've got a pair of MarinePower EFI 454's--96 vintage. Also have a RINDA tester that reads and displays the data from the MEFI I controller.
Is anybody technical enough to know if that configuration will work with Smartcraft system?
Has anybody thought about reading data from MEFI --especially the fuel consumption data and driving some kind of display?
The difference between MEFI I and MEFI III seems to be number of data elements as opposed to format so it SEEMS like the displays should be compalitble.
Seems like it would be cheaper than trying to jerry-rig Floscans to get that data.
Any Clues?

As far as I know the Delco ECU's are not compatable with Smartcraft.

The newer Rinda scan tools have software for both. If you have an older unit, I believe you can get a software upgrade. The smartcraft also uses a different connector, but Rinda sells an adapter for the PCM 555. They use to have this listed on their web site. I would check there.
I have a pair of 406 HO's, and the tool is a must have for the smartcraft system. I have not used it on any EFI engines, but I do not believe it will give the amount of data, the smartcraft sys. provides.
