I've had my 22ZX for four years, and it's been a great boat. No problems, good rougher water boat for it's size, good cabin space, and decent resale. I'd recommend it, and I'm not trying to sell you mine!

I developed a relationship with the manufacturer of Vindicator performance boats about a year ago. They are building me a 24 w/ a 496 (375 or 425 hp) that really is a nice "entry level" hi-po boat. Drop down bolsters, nice cabin w/ porta potti, etc. Will run 67-68 w/ 375 and 70+ with the 425 option. w/ a trailer and loaded for 49,995.

We are currently designing a 2700 model w/ twin 350 MAGS that should run 75+ and will sell for 59,995. I have a full page ad in the national yachttrader Ft. Lauderdale issue or go to buyafountain.com and click on new boats by VIP.

Good luck with your search.

I assume you are considering used boats. I'm biased, but the Baja is a good choice. It is the longest of the group at 23'6'' l.o.a., and runs 60+ with a 454 MPI. It has a nice sized cabin and the boat has a very good overall fit and finish. If you can find one with the "boss" package, i think you'd be happy.
