Default Truck Rental?

Does anyone know if you can (or where) you can rent a truck or dually capable of towing a 7000lb boast and trailor? Either from Tampa or from Jersey to Tampa. I'm checking out all options,

Thanx

Nobody is going to rent you a truck knowing your planing on towing, so be carefull with insurance.

Did rent a motorhome from U-haul a couple of times and towed a car carrier (7000 lbs)

Some of our local Ford Dealers are doing it here in the DC area. Check with a larger dealer in your area and see what they have. One here has 350 Super Duty pickups. There are also Excursions/Expeditions available from the rental places. As a last resort U Haul trucks have a 2" ball welded on and a trailer connector-should pull 7k with no problem.

I am guessing that by the time that you rent the thing, pay for milage, pay for gas, pay for time, that hireing a hauler will be MUCH cheaper.

Thanks,

Yeah, I'd rather have it towed, on someone elses trailer and sell mine (see classifieds). Problem is, these guys are all over the map with pricing and not the best at following up. Still trying, though.
