OK, heres a seemingly(is that a word) simple question.
What qualifies a boat as a "high performance boat"?
No necessarly to the insurance company but in general.
Is it looks/styling?
Is it hull sytle?
Is it Speed? If so what is the point at which a boat could be considered high performance? 50? 60? 70?

I'd say, more that anything.
What the Builders intentions for the
boat are.
Is it's main intent for it to be ran in a "performance
oriented" manner ?
All boats can be ran at full throttle.
What type of boat gives you the most
satisfaction in doing so ?????
For me, performance boats are the only
type that "scratch that itch".
I'd say 60 on the speed thing

I consider a performance boat a boat that's faster than most. Whether it's a flat a$$ ski boat , a deep V , or a cat.
And yes , 60 is a good starting point.
What kills me is when you tell the insurance company your boat can do 80 and they want to bend you over their desk. Now wait a minute...my PSD will do 80 too and they don't get upset at that
