Directions to registration area
Would appreciate any instructions from someone sober 
As to how to get to the registration/VIP pass pick up area..from the main road coming down to the keys...

I don't think anyone is sober anymore!
In previous years its always been at the entrance to the pits at the end of Southard in Truman Annex.
When the highway ends you have arrived in KW, there is a traffic light and you have to turn right or left.
Here you will turn right, that begins as N Roosevelt, follow that to at least White st (2 or 3 traffic lights), make a right, go about 4 blocks and turn left on Southard, go to the guard gate and you are there! If you miss White st, don't worry, you can turn right on Simonton, Duval, Whitehead and accomplish the same objective.
I' m driving down tomorrow.
