anyone have a problem with there cap & rotor ? this is the 3rd one I've gone through in 1 year and less than 10K driven. It seems that all the contacts corrode - may be from sitting? is there supposed to be a cap seal for moisture?? - seems to have a hard time starting when its really damp out. any suggestions???? before it leaves me stranded again?

BTW it was raining today and it would'nt start - pulled the cap & rotor off - cleaned the corrosion & it started but running a bit rough.

if my memory serves me right there is a vent in the bottom of the distributor if the whole inside of the distibutor is corroded yoru better of replaceing the whole unit had the same basic problem with one of our trucks at work but is was a c6500 but same basic engine
