Whipples performance kit for HP500

Anyone tried the Whipple performance kit on an HP500? I believe they do a reprogram of the ECM, bump up the rev limiter and do some thermostat mods. I think you're supposed to get another 30 or so hp from this and for around $350. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this and if so how did it work?

Vortech makes a kit that makes 25-40Hp (somewhere in that range) for the HP500EFI also

There is a guy here on the Lake that just did the install on a 525. PM me or call my cell if you still have it I'll get you in touch with him and he can go thru the whole deal.
