What Dock Bubblers do you recommend?
#1
I'm interested in putting a dock bubbler in to prevent ice damage to my dock, any recommendations on what works and what products to avoid? Cost?

They don't sell those in florida.
Ice Eaters are very good.I have two at my Ohio house to protect the lift from pieces of ice the size of buicks floating doewnthe channel.

I use Kasco units. Boat US sells them in 1/2 and 3/4 hp models. My 3/4's cost roughly $450 each. I use them primarily to blow the silt out under my Hydro-Hoist as well as for Deicing. For what it's worth East Coast B, I was born, raised near you in Nazareth. The Kasco units are very popular up here in Upstate New York. They are well built (also very heavy) and can be rebuilt. Let me know if you need more info. I think they have a web site for installation options. Lou

I don't recognize that name. I really enjoyed the Lehigh Valley. All my grandparents were from Northampton. I used to harass pheasants with my dog where some guys named Mario and Michael Andretti built their homes. Home prices down there are Insane! Good luck with the bubblers. Get good ones considering the fact that you'll leave them running for weeks or months at a time. Mounting them correctly will give you maximum effeciency.
