I really don't think that it matters. To finance an older boat, a survey must be done to get it financed. It just so happened that mine surveyed with a market value of $101K
and a replacement cost of 280K. Give one of these guys a call, I'm sure that either one of them would be more than happy to give you more educated answers than I can!!

I went through Essex and they got our deal bought through Suntrust Bank. Suntrust has had some pretty good rates and their rates are for new, used, refi etc. You could try them direct.
