Default Junk In The Trunk...I Mean Tank

I'm getting some debris in my gas tank. It is a stainless steel tank but it looks like rust flakes. Whats the best way to get rid of this problem? Do I have to drain the tank and pull it out to be blasted? Is there some kind of coating that can be applied (they have this for motorcycles called tank cream)? The tank is 110 gals and is about half full. I pulled up my floor boards and it is installed with foam on each side. Can't see what holding it in though. I'll post photos as soon as it stop raining.

Yeah, Reed. It's been raining all day.

Looks like I'll be working on the boat this week for the run this weekend. Are you still in?
