hydrohoist?
#2
I purchased a used hydrohoist lift last spring - works great - (35 Lightning) They say you can leave it in all year - but I have taken mine out for the winter to be on the safe side. I seen one get hammered by ice flow before. Check out their web site for more information.

I bought mine 10 years ago for 3k.only pulled it out of the water once for new bands and to add a work platform on the back. You need to have a platform for prop changes and to walk around for cleaning instead of climbing on the boat.Still worth 3k today.W/D marine in freeport NY Sales and parts.MY canal freezes to over a foot thick so I have a bubbler for the hoist on a timer. Also have a boat directly behind mine so my hoist swings out at the back for easy access.Just drive on and pull back in.

We have about 15 or so Hydro Hoist on Lake Michigan in Hammond Indiana. we all leave them in all winter and it does freeze in the harbor. make sure they are pumped all the way up. The ice will build around it and push it up on top. We do lift the hoses out of the water.
P.S. We don't leave the boats on them.
