Bought this boat in '01, it was already painted this way in '98. This is one of the few that have the flat engine hatch on it, not exactly what I had in mind. As you can tell, I had to do a bit of modifying to get the blowers to fit. Called Hustler, they wanted $5000 for the rear hatch. So me and the backwards cowl induction became close friends real fast. Had the bottom worked on and straighted up a bit lsat summer. Boat has a really good attitude at high speed. I love the boat, but it eats drives like crazy. Though about B Maxes or sixes, but figured it would be best just to sell the boat before I got in any deeper. Hope you guys can stand looking @ the boat pics, sorry a/b the disfigured hatch. It's all I could come up w/ at the time.

I chipped the bottem up getting it on & off the trailer at some pretty bad ramps low tide conditions not to mention the logs in the James river every weekend. I had a local shop fix the sharp edges & it looks real sharp & straight.

I'm running XR's or what's left of them a friend has replaced gears, shafts, bearings, top caps & so on. My driving habits have changed a bit so the drive issue seem to not be so bad anymore.
