What the weather like in Phoenix?
#1
What's the weather like in Phoenix today? Does it ever get down to 32 Deg during this time of year? The reason I'm asking, is that my new boat is sitting in Glendale, on a ranch, while my boat hauler gets his transfer case repaired in this tow rig!
And when the boat left LA, the water was not drained from the blocks, because he was supposed to be here in Fl, on 12/15/04! I'm worried that the water will freeze in the blocks if the temp goes down below 32 Deg. in Phoenix sometime in the next week! Man, this just sucks!

I just heard they are having a very uncommon cold front. Twelve degrees and a hard freeze. Boat engines that are used to the California sunshine are particularly vulnerable.

I guess I better order those HP525's right away! You'll back me up in front of HQ that those other motors are NOW jUNK and to be replaced, right?

I have no comment on anything to do with Dolly Parton and me

I'm in Virginia and we usually don't worry about temps in the upper 20's at night if it get to 50 during the day. 32 for a few hours isn't going to hurt anything. Good Luck with a transport. It took me a month to get my new boat out of Long Island NY just 2 weeks ago. (not winterized!)
What are you bringing home?

t500hps,
I remember your boat hauler troubles quite well! I afraid I hired his brother!
I'm bringing home a 2000 Nordic 35' Flame, eventually.

Let's see, I could drive over to Phoenix (visit my folks in Scotsdale), pick up your boat, head east, test drive the boat in say Galviston, again in New Orleans, maybe a quick run in Tampa Bay, you know, just to make sure it's okay and then deliver it to you. How badly do you want it?

We did have a cold spell last week, but the coldest I saw was around 34 and I'm in North Phoenix/Paradise Valley area. I wouldn't worry about it. It's 72 right now. In the 40's at night. You should be alright.
If you're worried, the transfer case in my truck is just fine and I could go warm it up for you.
