ESPN will be airing a one hour special covering Nigel's Venezuelan race down the Orinonco River on Sunday Dec. 19th at noon... Tivo or tape it if it competes with your favorite football game. I know I will! :-)

This was a very cool race. 1200 miles through the Amazon. The boat was a 33 ft Eliminator Daytona built just for this race with twin Ilmor Viper engines and Teague drives. Brett Seber drove most of the race. He describes it as an experience you wouldn't believe. The heat, bugs, and whirlpools in the middle of the river, instant switchbacks in the river and very primitive conditions. Brett says he saw over 115 mph on some parts of the river with 5 guys in the boat. This should be a great show to watch.
