Two words, works fine.
Yes, do a search but remember to consider only those with first hand experience. Mine worked right out of the box, period.
Aside from that Dean will you out with knowledge. I would suggest you buy all your parts from him so he knows what you have. I just sent him the carb and told him to put whatever else I needed in the box and send it back. None of this non sense with advice for heads from one guy, cam from another and so on. I thing there are many engine builders out there who can put together a package that runs well. You get into trouble when you start to mix and match.

I agree with Badog! I have used several Nickerson "packages" and have been very pleased with the results. His carbs work great and he knows boats and can be very helpful with cam selection, heads, etc. Good Luck!

Ran one of Nickerson's carbs on my last blower engine... all I had to do is set the idle. Never had a problem.

I recently had my new motor dynoed with a Nickerson 1180. The fuel curve was perfect. We didn't touch anything..

Had two sets of Blower 750's done. Tweeked the idle and didn't touch another thing. Fuel curves looked great on the dyno.

I have used his carbs on three different pairs of engines. As Big Dog said buy the cam and heads from him also. The last pair of engines were dyno'd at his shop with me there and my 540 CID with 10-71 @ 7 LBS boost ran 800HP @ 5600RPM. His advice was invaluable and his service was impeccable.

I had my engines built by Dean a couple of years ago .....still perfect.

I have 540"s with superchargers and he did the carbs and dynoed.

As I've stated in previous posts .........everyone should be as knowledgeable and
professional as Dean.
