Can some one explain the difference between Ferera sever duty valves and inconell valves. i have a set of Ferera's and am considering running them on a 512 cid with a .613 .629 LSA 112 hyd roller cam with aluminum heads. Pro's and con's please......

Manley Extreme duty is acceptable for exhaust usage, as is the Ferrea super alloy. The Ferrea valves were less expensive than the Manleys so I went with the Ferrea valves.
Inconel is a trademark name so some of the valve companies like Ferrea don't hang that name on their products.

I need 16 1.88 inconnel exhaust valves. Was planning to go with the extreme duty manleys, but ferrea would be good too. I've heard it said the ferrea flow better. Who has the best price on either? $280/8 is high in my opinion.

Ferrea SuperAlloy
Manley ExtremeDuty
They are BOTH "Inconel" valves.
They BOTH have hardened inserts in the tops of the stems.
They BOTH have stainless stems (not inconel) with the faces "somehow" metallurgically fastened to the stems (I've not heard anybody have trouble with the heads popping off either of them).
Any weight difference will be due to the amount of material (degree of cutback and face thickness), not due to the density of the material.
General consensus is that the Ferreas flow a little better.
