I will be in town Sat. for the Sugar Bowl. No plans on Sunday in the off chance someone there wants to go for a ride. I don't even care what type of boat you have. Never been to N'Awlins and would love a local to show me around. Long shot, but I saw Lucky Strike try this in CA and thought I'd give it a shot.

Weather permitting I'll give you a ride, but I'm about 2 hours east of New Orleans - It'd be more of a Mississippi Gulf Coast thing than New Orleans - oh and no fast boat - it's moth balled for the winter, but I've got another boat I need to run anyway.

I'd love a ride as long as it doesn't have paddles or sails. Unfortunately, we aren't going to have transportation so I won't be getting that far outside of the city . Thanks for the offer, and if in central VA I'll return the favor.

If you get a chance visit the national D-Day museum in the warehouse district near the French Quarter.

I suspected that trasport would be an issue, but the offer was genuine. Hope you had a good time at the game and in New Orleans. It was blowing pretty hard out of the east all weekend anyway so I ended up not going for that ride - maybe this weekend. I'll take you up on that if I'm ever in VA.
