Question for the OSO'ers in the Trucking Business
I just bought a small boat and it is in the Fort Liquordale area of Florida. Does anyone know of an alternative way to get this thing to Virginia other than me driving down there and towing it back. I don't mind doing that, 
but I want to check and see if there are other options. I've heard in the past that sometimes Tractor Trailers come back up North with some extra room in them or shipping companies would do it (for a fee). I'm wondering what it would cost???
Anyone have an idea?? The boat is a 12' Mini Hawk with a trailer. It can't weigh much!

Craig, when do you want it? I anticpate pulling Monsoon south to Ft. Lauderdale in the next 30 days. We will be towing either with my truck or BobbyB's dually. If the trailer is sound, I will drag it back for you.

you will need a loading dock or wrecker on each end. we just hauled kamma's

Flat beds are a cool way to go. That's what I did with the Bullet 130 Molds when I had to ship them. This guy usually delivers horse trailers on his truck so he has a ball hitch mounted right in the front of the bed.

We pulled the molds up on the truck on my utility trailer, connected the hitch right to the front of the bed and just strapped them in. I was originally only going to send the molds, but it was easier to get it on the flat bed this way. They just had the molds forked lifted off at their destination and dropped the trailer back off to me at the end of the day...
The truck is set up real nice for hauling trailers.

I have a buddy headed down on the 7th. He'd be interested in making gas money for the trip back. He is a personal friend (known for 20 years) and reliable as hell.
