Sweet my motors are going together!!!
#1
I am pumped. My builder started to put my motors together the other day. Hope to have them on the dyno soon. We are looking for 550-575hp out of them. We are putting smaller Weiand 177 blowers on them now but I built them so that I can easily add larger blowers for big hp in the future. We also wanted to make sure that I could run crap gas if I ever got stuck.
Now I have to get my azz in gear on the boat. Unfortunatly I have to work this weekend again!!!!! Damn customers!!!!!

That's great news. With all the trouble you have had I'm glad it's working out... Better hurry though, it sounds like Fred is getting close too.
What's the configuration on the motors?

Jon, that's great news. Trust me, the first time you fire those mommas up all the hassle and frustration disappears instaneously. At least it did for me. And I don't have anywhere NEAR those motors. Good luck and keep us posted. Russ

As for Fred I am not worried. He has his dash up for sale......
My deck is ready for paint unless I decide to change the hatches. The fairing is almost ready to go. These new motors will likely not go in this year but next. The motors are Gen 6 454's with flat top pistons and weiand 177 blowers. They are 30 over for the pistons. Other then that I have not gotten the specs from Timmy yet to know what cam he is using or anything else. I know that since it is a Gen 6 I do not have to worry about the cam. I guess you have to spend HUGE money to get a good roller cam set up on the Mark 4 and Gen 5 motors.

I get a warm fuzzy feeling everytime I hear an update to your story. The crooks in this world get all the attention. I'm glad to see that generosity and compassion still exists in this world. Can't wait to see pics of the new gear!!!!
