Who can tell me about Phantom boats?

Found this 34 Phantom in the OSO classifieds. Good looking boat, but I have to admit I know nothing about this builder. I did a search and found a number of threads about race boats, but nothing on the pleasure version.
Do these boat have a cabin? Hard to tell from the pic, do they come with bolsters or is it a sit down ride? I like to have something a little different than the rest of the folks on the lake, and this is in our price range...
Thanks!

DR,
I'm pretty sure it's a sit down ride with a small, "Crawl in on your knees" cabin, if it has a cabin @ all. BUT, that boat will FLY! They are very fast, and well-built.

The boat has 8ft beam... here is more info.
This is more a race boat gone pleasure, than viceversa... and i dig it!

Seats 3 up front... so it seats 6! which is a plus. Probably not much of a cabin.
It sure ain't similar to what you've been lookin at DR.
See if you can contact Will Smith... I know he's on the board, just can't remember is handle.

Will Smith was my racing team mate. He only likes to build race boats, and that one was probably built so he could homoligate the hull for APBA racing. No doubt, it's built like a race boat even if it never raced.
Call Will, he's the nicest and most honest person in this business. I'm proud to call him a close friend.
There was an article in Powerboat a while back were Bob Teague was just amazed at the easy drivablity and rough water capabilities of the hull. Not much of a cabin, but if you want a great boat, you found it.
This is my old 34, same boat just with a canopy.

I'll try to find the test that Powerboat did on a 34' several years ago. If I can find it then I'll scan it and post if for you.
