help!! ipod / napster compatibility???

I have a lot of music downloaded from napster, want to get a ipod. i downloaded itunes and it will not library any of my napster files becouse it is a wma protected format????? but i can take a cd that i have burned with these songs and add it to itunes?? thf??
also ipod does not seem to be on the napster list of portable devices that sync. ????

Yeah, you will also find that you can't move iTunes protected tunes to other formats. You will probably have to burn them to CDRW and then load tham back to iTunes. I haven't checked yet but there may be some conversion programs out there but it would be pirateware.

yzbert, Nah ... there are tons of free WMA to MP3 converters out there (not pirateware .. legit stuff) do a GOOGLE search. Still a pain .... takes time to convert each song, but in the end compatability is the goal and will be achieved!

I"ve not had any trouble with transfering my music files to my iPod. But I don't use napster. I get my music from winmx.com

dBpowerAMP Music Converter wont reconize the napster files, limewire.com cant figure out if that will do it or not.
when i burn a album from napster it will transfer name of artist and song, but when i just burn mult. songs from napster to cd it transfers as track 1 ect. big pain??
