I took a short trip into Chicago yesterday to visit my friends at Grand Sport Center. Grand Sport Center is the new midwest Cigarette dealership. While I was there, I spent some time checking out the new 39 Top Gun that they will have at the Chicago Boat Show. I was very impressed to say the least. Here are some pics.

Right now I am in the process of rebuilding the transom assemblys. I just got back from trying to buy a length of threaded rod that I need to make a puller to remove the upper gimbal ring pivot pin. No luck on Sunday afternoon in Kankakee and I doubt if Monday morning will be any better. I guess that I`ll just have to order it. As far as the paint goes, I`m going to leave it as is for now. Not that that 39 did`nt give me some ideas.

Does anyone know why they took away some of the gauges on the port side and added more on the starboard? I personally think the dash of a T/S Gun is the best looking ever. It's clean looking and has the two most important gauges.
