Blown2Bwild, I have installed a few Pro-charger 502 efi systems, and the results have been great. Even put them on my efi small blocks. The speed gains were any where from 15-18 mph, and relibility great on all of them thus far. The only thing negative about the systems I have done is ecu related. If you use a pro-charger system, you might want to go ahead and re-program the ecu. If you don't, it'll still work great, but really rich engine conditions will result. Most on the oso board like az. speed for re-cals. but i have always used precision marine, in kenner la. My .02 worth

26sonic, MARK BOOS number is 504-469-7463. Let him know i ask you to call. I just came back from there visiting. He re-programmed both my ecu's after I completed two new 383's with pro-chargers. He spent several hours actually doing the reprogram in the boat while running. End result was 87.4mph in less than good water conditions. I thought that was respectful for a 30' boat with small blocks. He is great to work with .
BSAG, thanks for the compliment. I worked hard to get that result.

BLOWN2BWILD,
I've been investigating supercharger systems as well to put on a 502 Mag EFI, and all of the specs are overwhelming. I have read alot of post since becoming an OSO member a while back and there are alot of different opinions about the options, which even confuses the desision process more. Their is a OSO member (Bruce) that builds boat motors that is fairley close to you in St.Louis and posts frequently. He might be worth a call. I'm not sure if he works on different supercharges, but I know he does install the Whipples. Good luck on you Quest for MoPower.
P-29 That is awesome looking! Great job. Where did you get the Scarab Racing decals, that's a nice finishing touch. I would like to get those manifolds as well, but after the new XZ Drive, external steering, and supercharger along with a new stereo system, the check book is going to be hurting really bad. Come on Income tax return, Boat needs gas money. So the manifolds may have to wait until next year.
