Thumbs up Thanks to dyno and Crazyhorse

Just wanted to give a public "thank you" to OSO members dyno and Crazyhorse. These guys took some time out of their weekend to go and look at a 28 Apache for me over in Grand Haven. As it turns out, it looks like they saved me from another cross-state trip - boat looked to need more work than I'm willing to sign up for, but it could make someone a nice project.

If it weren't for OSO I would've never had any contact with these guys, and here they are spending their time to help a brother out. Thanks!

Oh, brother. Hey, brother. He ain't heavy, he's my brother. brotherly love. Brother printers.
Any time, DR. You'd look real good in that 28 Saber that Tom has over there. I guess it runs low 90's with 525SC engines. Nice-looking boat.

There's another 28 Saber over there, all white with teal (ugh) and white interior, single 502 EFI. A possibility, for sure. 90mph is too fast for me and my wallet - gas and insurance would be more than I'm willing to pay. I'm still trying to convince the Mrs that we need this boat - pic #2 is kind of how I'd like to see it (I'm no Photoshop guru, that's for sure!)....

Money can buy anything. Even blue paint on the sides of that particular boat.
The new trailer goes under it tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to remember to take a picture.

I'm just a sucker for that classic Cig look, white deck and solid hullsides. Like a '69 SS Camaro with racing stripes, it never goes out of style!

The Mrs is at the jeweler's place tonight, so I might have a little leverage "But honey, this boat will ride soooo nice for the two kids." Eventually I think I'll wear her down, but that woman is like granite!

Here's that 28' I was talking about: 28 Saber

Ok, I rolled some blue paint on the sides this afternoon in between rain storms. When can I expect you to come and pick up your new boat?
