I am trying to finance a boat that is not in Buc or Nada.I found a boat I love and need to see if I can get it financed.I have a boat that I am selling but do not want to loose this in the mean time.I am tired of the promises of being able to do it and when it comes down they all say no.My credit is not the problem but thay all say they can finance,I send them my stuff then they all come back and say my credit is not the problem but nobody will lend money for a boat that is not in Buc or Nada.Any suggestions would be appreciated I do not want to loose this boat.

Have a surveyor appraise it.

That is definatly BS that they can not finance a boat that is not in the book. I am on my second boat and they are not listed in Nada or Buc either. You will have to search a little and pay slightly higher interest but you can get it done. Call total dollar

A SAMS or NAMS surveyor can appraise the boat for you.

Mine is not on NADA or BUC and I had no problems with financing or insurance. A survey with an appraisal from a certified appraiser was all that I needed. Rates varied from 4.99 to 5.42 for 20 years. Look up boardmembers Moneygirl or DaveP, they are both very helpful.
