Found a couple of opportunities down in the Cape Canaveral area - what is that part of FL like?

Lot of rocket ships.

Kinda parusing that area myself.

Lots of DoD related jobs down there... and this has nothing to do with my looking at Florida:

Other than visiting NASA, dont know too much about the immediate area. Not far from Orlando or Daytona so activities are well within reach. I would think that property is not too bad cause there is alot of wooded area around Cape Canaveral. But dont quote me on that one.

The area is generally called the Space Coast. Jobs are open for engineers of all kinds, construction is booming, home prices are moderate for Florida but rising at fastest rate in State and country.

We're an hour or so from Orlando, Daytona; 2 or so from Tampa, Miami, Jax.

Boating/fishing is great here on Intercoastal and on St. Johns River about an hour away.

Weather is great -- it's cold right now at 52--lst week highes were in high 70's/low 80's !!
