Default What is Lake Jordan like in NC??

Would like some insight on this lake... how busy of a lake is it? Over populated? Can you find ramps? Full service marinas? Dock side bars? Are there homes built on every inch of the lakeside?

Appreciate your time in responding! Thanks!

Jordan lake in 20 minutes outside of Raleigh and is owned/regulated by the Corps of Engineers. It is a drinking water lake. There are no homes allowed to be built on the lake. There is one marina that has store, fuel, wet slips and a good launch.
There are quite a few NC Wildlife launch sites. it is really not too crowded on the weekends except major holidays. Sereen during the week. Some performance boats.
