Default God Speed...Mister Garbrecht

Sadly I must pass on that a true racing and performance boat icon, Gary Garbrecht, passed away of a heart attack. Gary was head of Mercury racing, and later OMC's Formula One Tunnel series. He also was a founding partner of Executioner Powerboats (Fountain). He was president of Aronow Powerboats and Mach Propellers...and most recently owner of the Hydro-Prop Champ boat and unlimited hydro series. His contributions to boat racing, including offshore, are too numerous to mention......

Personally, he was a great help to me in my tunnel boat career and in developing the Shadow Cats.

God Speed.......... Big Guy.

Gary was a partner with Reggie when Fountain first started.

Gary was always there at the beginning of almost anything that had to do with high performance on the water.

A good guy who will be missed by many.

Rest in Peace
