Well, considering that I'm crawling the walls to get back into a race boat, I thought it would be a good idea to find out where my fellow maniacs will be tempting fate this '05 season. I know APBA/SBI merged so those schedules still have to be posted, but considering the merger let me know either OSS, APBA/SBI, or both??? I've seen the old threads regarding this subject but they usually die after a couple of days and need to be refreshed....I'm not asking how many boats are "supposed" to be racing, blah, blah, blah. I don't care how many boats are "supposed" to race this year, because after everyone responds, we'll then find out (and if there's a racer out there who doesn't have a membership to this site, there is something so wrong with them). So I'm basically asking this......Who's racing this year and where. Once we figure out who and where, let the fun begin, but first let's answer the question at hand.

I'm just glad to see this class grow where ever they race.

The Boats Ron P. mentioned are ALL GUARANTEED to race the full OSS season. If you want a shot at $8,500 for first place prize money with Merc. contingency plan you know where you got to be. And did I mention a TV show as well? Where ever you go I wish you luck in your season with the new boat.

Guys, I know all of the +/- of both organizations, and more or less what everyone thinks about each, but in case you didn't understand my initial message...I just wanted to know WHERE people were running, not why....personally I could care less about your individual reasons why you're going to race where you are, I was just looking to hear from racers in our class where they are going, that's all.....Randy, why would I be scared of OSS??? If we had the money last year to race that's where we would have been, I just want to go where the numbers are.

Then why ask the question? If you have been reading the OSO board which you say you have then I cant believe you dont know where everyone is racing. Sorry if it sounded like I was promoting OSS but thats what happens when you ask questions like that. I tend to give a answer and a plug all in one.
Mark now the board has turned into a yes or no answer to any question asked? If I said white you would say black and then tell everyone a million reasons why you were right!

Randy, Agendas aside, OSS has there's, We have ours. What means most to me is building friendships and relationships. You and I don't agree about which direction the sport is going, but the bottom line is: In New york, Pt Pleasant, and key west we can hang around share a beer, and talk about racing, big tits, bust balls and political agendas never enter the picture. It only happens here
