22 wellcraft scarab ???

what are your thoughts on the 22 scarab, basically 1996 with 7.4 l with new sst marine xhaust, bravo I in great shape, engine looks great and all guismos look serviceable. hull and deck have some scratches, but fixable.Trailer is alu dual axle and in good shape.

Nice little boat, comparable to a 22 Checkmate or Baja. Should run around 65mph?? As for price, their is not a big demand for that size/type of boat so you should be able to get it below book value.

They are a nice boat with small power. I rode in one last summer with 650 hp, and it was scary. It had the excelleration of a 11sec street car, but over 75-80 it was very hairy. Im not sure anyone has let it hang out yet. I always like the boat though.

His has the 310 hp, with two 260 + lbs guys it ran a even 60 mph on gps with a bravo 24". Nice boat for the money. think he paid 13,000-14,000 for his a few years back.

i agre, size is every thing. look for 28ft plus. you mit call bad enuf, he has a 28--30 somthing , cant rember new alu trailer 2 new small blks 350 350hp or so r&r drives. i road in it 1 time gps about 63, ask for trivis 816-380-4732
