Hello Race Fans,

We closed out the 2004 season this past weekend by crowning the High Points Champions and now it's time to start planning for the 2005 season.

Once again, Congratulations to the OPA High Points Champions.

If you're planning on racing with OPA this year, then you'll want to attend the racer's workshop meeting on Sat Feb 26th at Smitty's Marine. This meeting is open to all racers and race officials that will be participating in OPA racing during the 2005 season.

This will be your chance to have your voice heard and to make changes to the OPA rule book for the 2005 season. At this meeting each class will be asked to deliver a written request for rule changes. All matters need to be addressed at this meeting so that we can lock down a rule book for 2005. Rules, rule enforcement, scoring, and penalties will be some of the topics open for discussion.

If you can't make the meeting, please have someone in your class carry your proxy vote.

The meeting starts at 12-noon on Sat, Feb 26th at Smitty's Marine.
