I think what Bobby was trying to tell you is to Call Kevin Brown at Lakeway Boat Repair in Attica Ohio. He worked at baja for 18 years and now he has his own glass shop. He has worked on boats suchas Twisted Sticks, Twisted Chicks and the 2003 F1 Single engine class Champion's boat. He is very good at what he does. Tell him that Aaron sent you.

sandman,
Blueprinting should be left to a professional. It's not something you do with a sander and level. It's alittle more involved then that. There are different types of blueprinting, all of which depends on the attitude your looking for in your hull. One way is to true the bottom. Which is nothing more then taking a long flat board sander. Then you can also have steps altered by cantering the angles of the steps to achieve more bow lift. Anyway, the basic flatboard job usually runs about $ 1,500.00. Major modifications on the hull can cost upwards of $ 6,000.00.
I've been building, blueprinting and repairing offshore boats for over 30 years, so believe me. A nice blueprinting job can give you some MPH. But it costs.

Rick

Kevin once called my boat Christine. Everytime he thought it was done it would come back wanting more.

Kevin's dossier of blueprinted boats is quite amazing.

Anyways, you can check the bottom of your boat yourself for flatness. Have a professional fix it if you have problems. This is a primary source of speed robbing. This will be my first year of running with a truel

I believe engine work would be better than a full blueprint job. Kevin actually talked me out of a full blueprint job.

Sandman, I have a spare blower motor if interested. Would even take you 385 on trade (if good). My bro in law needs a new engine in his sea ray.
