Brand new never used from the 80's the seller was gonna install on an 80's Exaclibur ..so it's prob. a good fit for my 80's Scarab.. ??comes with wing plates. cylinders ,hoses ,transom brackets ,tie bar, hardware and a new boostercylinder.. all parts are balck except tie bar..I have never seen a factory kit before.. any good?? instructions say engines may have to be removed to install the booster cylindre /control valve ???

I think that was a Hynautic system. See if there are long rods that go down the outside of the cylinder to hold the end caps on. If it is a Hynatic system I know a bunch of guys that have them and they really like them.

The only problem I see is you can't get parts for these anymore. I have been looking for some spare rams and havn't seen any for sale. If you get it for the right price go for it. Mine is now 20years old and works just fine still.

If it's used only in fresh water, it will last for many, many years. Salt is a different story. Ed
