Default Adding oil temp and water pressure gauges

I have had my HP500 EFI rebuilt this winter and want to add water pressure and oil temp gages to the boat/motor. I mounted the gages and run the wiring but want to know the best place to install the sending units.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The oil temp is best takin at the oil pan. My senders are located on the filter housing ... due to stock pans not set up with sender boss.

Water pressure ... mine are located on intake manifolds , best place is lower block area around drains. Running pressure relief valve on mine ... pressure indicated reads 30 psi @ full throttle. Due to access in my engine area it was very difficult to install fittings after engines being installed ( lower block area)

Thanks 737, sounds like there are existing ports in both locations that can be used. Is that true?
