I need to replace a rear bumper. The last price I recieved was over $400.00 plus labor. The 3 black "plastic" pieces are $170.00 but mine are fine if I can get them off undamaged. Any ideas....anyone hook a brother up?????

You can get the black step pads off with a liitle care and a flat blade screw driver. As far as the bumper I might be able to locate a used one with a small dent on the left side for a reasonable price.

Actually, $ 400 is pretty good for a bumper that big.

I have found front bumpers aftermarket for trucks for $79. I am sure they have a rear one for the suburban. I also found the front trim cap for $50 instead of $150. Call around. I used 2 places, Certi-Fit in Cleveland (they dont' ship) and a place just outside of Detriot. They do ship. Can't remember the name. If I find it I will post.

I believe 43Thunder has hooked me up. He sent pics of one that should work great. (Looks like a minor little scratch that should buff out) I'll have it in a few days.

OK...wrong term, it's a very minor imperfection considering what I'm replacing and what I'm paying for the replacement. Care to post a pic 43, you sent them to me at work.
