Default Any AMSOIL dealers here??

I am looking for some Out drive gear lube . I have bought direct and bought into there member pricing for the 20.00 to get there better price . I figure there might be a OSO member thats a Amsoil Dealer that I could buy from instead.

They said there not selling the ALU which is the GL4 marine anymore. They said there going to the AGW 75-80-90 and I think its a GL 5.Suggestions???

It does look like if you buy it in the gallons per case it is cheaper.

Thanks

Rob

I haven't logged into my account in a while and appearently they're updating contact info. so until tomorrow I can't get on to see what my cost would be. It would be shipped directly to you. As soon as I can get to my account, I'll let you know. I was about to order a few things for myself too.

They have a new marine lube released March 1. Maybe that is what you are referencing. I have a couple cases ordered.

I also bought into that member program & now buy it at Discount auto parts. No shipping & I worked a deal with them & get the added discount. I use to buy a fair amount at one time to get the break. Switched to eggbeaters this year..no more monster oil changes

Ok, only thing they are showing right now is AGU which is the GL-4 and is not recomended where GL-5 is spec'd. And it's only showing in 8oz. tubes. About $3.45 each tube and the web-site is screwed up so I can't get to the rest of the pricing. I'm assuming $16-$18 for a case of 6 tubes.

Thee is also AGM which is 75w/80w-90 Marine gear lube. Specified for when GL-4 or GL-5 is called for. I'm assuming it's worded that way because like other products, they don't have the actual cert. but it meets the requirements for the cert. It's $5.15/Qt and $58.80/case of 12 Qts. Other than that, you can get 5 or 55 gallons.

That's all just my cost and since I'm not an operating, trying to profit "dealer", I'd pas that along plus you'd pay shipping/handling.

Just an FYI Mobil-1 75W-90 is GL-5+ @ 6.49/qt
Compatable with copper and bronze..

http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lub..._LS_75W-90.asp

(Simply amazing specs.)

Fully PAO Synthetic for maximum heat resistance and cooler running drives. It's extra-tough, Indy-500 certified. Plus, the special formula makes manual gear shifts easier and faster as well as improve fuel economy. Suitable for year-round service down to 50 below zero. Offshore racers have commented they love it and it is tried and true (as well as Royal Purple of course ).

(The "A" brand is a new formulation??? Teagues used Series 2000 and we had data...we have to try out a new product now?? Why?)

My .02..... Mobil-1 GL5+..................... rules! bam!!

...availability at Walmart....priceless

now what were you asking??
