This morning it was $2.079 at the station down the street. Got home tonight and it is now $2.259!!! What the heck? I think we all know dang well that the price of oil may have gone up today but that the gas in the underground tank at ANY station in America was refined weeks ago and in my opinion should not be effected by the price of oil today.
I just don't get how gas could go up nearly $0.20 in a few hours.... pisses me off!!

most commodities sell at current market value, not what the retailer bought it for.... and gas is a commodity.. try building houses when lumber, sheetrock and steel change every week and you might have bid the job 6 months ago... plus now everybody is tacking on fuel surcharges for every delivery.....

I paid $2.049 for diesel today. Someone told me that diesel gets cheaper in the summertime. Is that true???
