Looking for a set of 380 k-planes (tabs only)to replace 280's
wanted them to be cut down to fit twins.

I bought some new 380's in late December from Diamond Performance on this site. I responded to an ad in the classifieds for a used set from them, but they had just sold. I believe I paid $700 plus $25 to cut them on a milling machine plus shipping. They even painted the edge to match. You can't go wrong with them or Fred.

Tried some on my 42 Fountain....no good, too sensitive, was to hard to bump in.

Thanks Lou, the 380's are from Mercury and bolt right up to the 280's.

Diamond I am going to need a set just like Lou's.

I've heard some talk that the 380's are better on the slingshots than the 280's. Could you tell me why and what they help??
Also do you think they could be installed with the drives on boxes???
