Its that time of year again to start planning the annual Demo race on Lake George on Saturday May 21st 2005.
I am looking for about 20 boats to run in a 3-4 mile closed course and demonstrate race style conditions. We will take turns leading and running out front. There are no winners or losers as its only a demo. I need 10 boats that can run between 70 85mph and 10 boats that can run 90 plus mph to do the run. There will be helicopter footage of this event and airiel photo oppertunitys will be available Helmets and life jackets will be worn. The Village of Lake George who is sponsoring this will have proper Insurance to cover us running in this event. The boats will be on display for the public for about 2 hours before the run at the public docks at the south end of the Lake. This event usually draws a good crowd and gives you a great chance to show your stuff at the docks. There will be a party for all the participants following the run at a local establishment. Give me a call if you have interest in participating.

Bob,
We had a great time last year, if my motors are back on my 30 Cobra by then (which they better be) you can count me in. I'm sure Hot Boat, Tantrum, and the Excavator will want in also. I loved all those old school race boats.

I was hoping you would be available to run. I would like to have a nice representation of Cigarettes for this run. Can you get ahold of Ron Forsey and let him know about this thread and have him call me ??
