What do you guys think of this thing? Great bargain? Or, biggest headache ever? Has anyone ever heard of Sandler before. Looking for information.

iteresting boat. any idea where the hull was derived from or if it is an original design. just curious because i have never heard of the brand. looks like a pretty nice piece though.

Sounds like even if the boat is junk you could part it out pretty easy.

What's with the plywood boxes hugging each side of the third motor??

Isnt that similar to a Rabco design? custom boat builder only did a few one offs?

This boat was custom built by a customer of ours who wanted to build a full pleasure boat that would truly run over 100mph when no one else could do it in the early 90's. He and a naval architect designed the hull and had it built in Norway. It is a triple step design. The hull was shipped to the states and rigged here. Bud Lorrow (now with Cigarette) built the engines and did the last rebuild on them. The boat was stored and maintained at Bobby Moore's shop until T-N-T bought his business and has been there since. It is an awesome machine. He invested a million dollars in this boat and it did preform as planned (the boat has a 47' Hull, not including the platform, 51' with platform, 9' plus beam, full cabin, and ran 104mph the last time out). He has decided to sell the boat and has priced it to sell. He realizes it is not a known manufacturer and felt the drive train alone would be worth the ask price, but would prefer to see the boat remain intact. There were two of these hulls built. Bouyhunter, The fiberglass boxes are covers for the rear fuel cells and have removable lids.

That's a LOT of boat for the money! I'm sure the fuel bills are killer, but then again, your not paying a lot for the boat! Good Luck!!!

Seems to me there was a Canadian guy in the Florida Powerboat Club that had one.
Boat ran pretty well, but lacked finishing refinement if my memory serves me correctly.
