Carling Tech switches for Formula
#1
Does anyone have a source/ supply where these can be bought? I have tracked down the part number from Carling, but cannot order direct. These are the factory Formula bolster switches that control footrests and seat bottoms.
Part#- VLDAS002-8ZZ00-000
RedDog382 was kind enough to get the trim/ tab switches, but thesse come from a different source.

The rocker pops into the bezel and supposedly the part number is for both pieces. I have 2 like this and 2 black ones. apparently the original owner didn't care how they looked as long as they worked.

they have now brought back the "flush" setup as of '04. I have the "stand above" the bezel rockers in my '02. At 6'5" I have caught my board shorts on the one leaving the drivers bolster a couple of times. I thought I'd like the snag free and cleaner look of the flush ones, although they are a little harder to "find" and use.
I have 4 of the '04 up style on my kitchen table right now. They've gone to a bezel milled out of starboard plastic that the rocker switch pops into for the same look as yours.
I'll sell you the 4 white surface mounts out of my low hour '02. Shoot me a PM if you want.

I can make the switch for you Russ. get me the switch and what I have done is take it apart and install a new back section onto your switch. I did this to one of mine when I could not find a white one.

My switches all work, but 2 are white like pictured, the other 2 are black and aren't even shaped like the white ones. I want to replace the 2 black ones to match the whites shown.
