I got the invite yesterday thanks. Sounds like it will be another great time Ian and I will be attending, we always have a great time at COPS parties

just got my invite also. glad to see its the 16th i has told the 15th. sheri and i will be going also. but i think she will be gambling. i,m going to try to keep up with donna this time.

sheri booked our room today but i'm not sure where. she is in bed now i will ask her in the morning. i only know it's 1 or 2 miles from the club / boat. is the ramada inn where every one is staying?

Is it me or does it seem off that an organization whose name starts with "Chicago", as in Chicago, Illinois has all its festivities in Indiana?

At least we have a Chicago mailing address.

The Chicago boat show party was up at Dick's last resort. Then we had the South Haven Winter getaway which was a blast!!! I wish you guys could have made the party. Donna did a fantastic job organizing the event. Now we are moving back around to our side of the lake.

Our first run will be a little different this year. The run is not to a location more an orchestrated Photo and Video event. We need more footage and stills using the city for background. The first run of the year will be earlier than in the past. Ask any photographer and they will tell you it is hard to get shots at 1:00 because of the sun. I want everyone happy with the quality of the photography this year.

The Poker Run will be to the City which would explain the name. It would be great to base the run out of a Chicago Marina but space and the city's willingness make this a hard thing to do. Helping Children's Memorial Hospital is a great way to help the relations of the Offshore community. Maybe over time we will get the pull necessary to run an event as large as a Poker Run out of a Chicago Marina. That would be fantastic.

We are hoping to have the Pirates ball in downtown Chicago this year. It will depend on availability and value for the dollar. I know it would make a great location to spend a long weekend in October.

If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. Post them in a thread or give me a call on the cell phone. I know you probably have some connections that may be able to benefit the club. Any help is greatly appreciated. Are you guys coming to the opener? Talk to you soon.
