Default Refinishing a boat?

Just saw this in a trade mag tonight.

It's called a marine rasper. Takes 8" wide paper that comes on a roll. Pad is 18" long. You can get paper from 80 to 2400 grit. I've tried blocking with a homemade block that held a whole sheet. It might have worked for a 700lb gorilla but I couldn't push it. I can't imagine how much easier this would make blocking and final wetsanding.

I have a couple Hutchins pieces- they make good stuff.

I'm ordering one tomorrow.
