Default Smith Mountain Lake Poker Run Info

I'm trying to get some of the Lake Murray people together and make the SML Poker Run...any info for me? I hope it's not too late to register and find a place to stay.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Mrs. Wigginout - Here is the web page for the SML poker run, http://www.smlba.com/, unfortunately it looks like they have reached the max boats allowed, but they are taking names for a waiting list in case of cancellations. My husband Tom and I are planning a trip to your lake with Docmanrich and his wife Jen. From reading the forum, it looks like it will be a time to remember.

Throttle Therapy,
Thanks for the reply! I sent a request to the SMLBA for info so I'll just wait and see what happens.

I look forward to meeting all of you in April. It looks like it's going to be a pretty good party! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you with the trip down.

Cat

P.S. Are you a Boones Farm drinker too?

Cat

This poker run usually fills up just from the registrations that are sent out to the people who attended the year before.
I know the registrations were sent out awhile back and eveyone here didn't seem to interested at the time. This will be the first year in a couple of years that we haven't gone. If you can get a spot it is a great time. Bernards landing is definitely the place to stay.

Here is a link to pictures I took form last years run.

Another good one in Virginia is of course the Jammin on the James. We had a blast at it last year and met a lot of great people. I know Howard and Ed are registered for it for this year and I believe there are a few openings still available.

Here is a link to pictures from Jammin on the james last year

As of last week the Jammin on the James poker run had 8 spots left.

Last year was our first poker run. I had been trying to convince my wife we needed to get a performance boat for 2 years. On the way home after this run my wife told me to sell both the boats we had at the time and get one!!!! Now we have a Formula and registered the first day registrations were available.
(How's that for an endorsement of this run!!!)IT WAS A BLAST!
